旅遊計畫

基本上, 我覺得我像孤兒, 老媽老爸認為溫哥華太無聊了,他們沒啥興趣來. 跑去大峽谷和佛羅里達的迪士尼. 悶呀.

溫哥華 冬天是真的很悶,但可以去玩雪啦, 夏天......美極了. 我們計畫去北BC和美國的奧瑞岡州波特蘭,這兩個地方 一來不會太遠,二來也可以享受夏天. 北BC 很美,奧瑞岡州波特蘭沿途有很多湖, 聽說那州買東西是免稅的, 不管他門來不來了. Ed今年九月雖然不用教書,但研究案迫在眉梢,要玩要快了.

他們來自不一樣的地方,

有一對是女同志呢. 左方兩位..她們兩位現在碩士畢業了,到紐約附近的Connie Island去了.在卑詩省同性戀的結婚是被承認的.但美國不是每個地方都如此.因此,對她們造成了許多不方便.

有一位的手是機械手,但是他還是可以把實驗做好哩.

有一位是從天津來的..他的手藝很好,會做蛋塔,蛋糕等糕點.

有一位以前去過的實驗室,是檢驗馬尿的.他還蠻樂在其中的.

有一位是從印度來的,但她在小時候,全家移民到倫敦,現在住在溫哥華. 她每年都回去印度渡假一個月.

Kung Fu Panda

星期天的下午, 綿綿細雨, 原本打算去溜直排輪, 因下雨而取消了,去看了Kung Fu Panda . 滿間的小孩...熱鬧得很哩!

覺得這個動畫片比起花木蘭, 甚至臥虎藏龍都更多一點東方味.
那'見山不是山'的禪意, 以西方的方式表現即是'相信自己'.

Where is the summer!!!

Where is the summer!!!
This is summer in Vancouver but it's only 14 C now. I feel it is very irritating because I know what summer should be like. Although I really enjoy all the green and flowers because they are happy to show their best, somehow it's just not right.

Summer is coming; my students' class in Chinese school is finished today. This morning I had a hard time to ask them to be quiet to write their final exam because they can not wait for summer vacation. Some people plan to go back to Taiwan or go somewhere else for vacation.

After their exam we had to mark the exam and write the report card right away. In the mean time, the kids watched a film which was showing the Sichuan earthquake in the Gym. Each student needed to make a card for a kid in Sichuan. I think everything was pretty rushed in the end. My students gave me a card to say thank you. I was very happy to see this card. I know those kids are beautiful, they know how to appreciate people.
